Fees

In most instances work will be charged at an hourly rate and we will not commence work until a fee is agreed and a signed booking form has been received from you.  Receipt of a signed booking form constitutes a legal contract between the parties.  In instances where we give a quote for a complete job, we reserve the right to change this quote where the nature or extent of the work substantially changes.  All additional office expenditure and third party costs not included in our quote or agreed fees will be charged at cost.

Invoices

We will invoice you on completion of each piece of work and payment of our invoice is due on delivery.  All payment options will be set out in our invoice.  For ease of reference, we accept payment by cheque, by standing order to our bank account, or via credit cards through the PayPal credit card system subject to payment of PayPal’s administration fees.

Urgent Deadlines

We will always ensure work is turned around in accordance with agreed deadlines and we will contact you immediately if any problems occur.  Please let us know if you have an urgent deadline to be met (i.e. less than 48 hours) to ensure that we can accommodate your request.  Urgent work may be subject to a surcharge.

Delivery

We will deliver all work, where practical, via email.  However, we can also arrange for your work to be delivered to you either on CD-Rom or hard copy, subject to additional cost for materials and postage.  Printed work will be sent out by standard first class mail.

Backup

We will retain a backup of all completed work for the period of one year when it will then be destroyed or deleted.

Responsibility

We will exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in carrying out the work according to your instructions. We will require all work which incurs additional or third party costs to be approved (i.e. by approving final drafts or signing off proofs) before the costs are incurred.  Once your approval has been received we are unable to offer refunds or reimbursement of additional or third party costs, so please ensure you are 100% happy with the work before you give your approval.  Corrections will be carried out free of charge where errors are our fault.  We will carry out all other corrections at the agreed hourly rate. 

Confidentiality

Any information we hold about you, your business, your employees, clients, customers, etc will remain confidential and we will not pass on any information unless authorised to do so on your behalf.  We are happy to sign any confidentiality agreements that you require.

Conflicts of interest

We will inform you of any conflicts of interest as soon as this comes to our attention.

Communications

Where we communicate by email, we cannot guarantee that our emails are virus free, but we have screening software in place to minimise any risks to you.  We would ask that you ensure that any emails and attachments are also screened for viruses before you send them to us.

Personal deliveries and visits

We regret that we cannot accept deliveries in person, or personal visits to our premises, due to insurance reasons and safety precautions.

Criminal activities

We reserve the right to refuse to carry out any work which involves money laundering, fraud or criminal activity.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with any part of our service please raise your concerns with us immediately, and we will endeavour to rectify the situation to your satisfaction as soon as possible.

Jurisdiction

Any contracts created between us will be governed by English Law.
