Transcription

We can transcribe your digital audio recordings (WAV, DSS, etc) including reports, correspondence, interviews, lectures and conferences etc.  We actively promote the use of digital dictation because:

  • There are no courier or postage costs involved in delivering your work to us,

  • Your work can be instantly transferred to us via email or FTP and cannot be lost in transit,

  • Digital dictation is clearer in quality enabling us to turn your work around more accurately and quickly, and therefore at less cost to you.

No matter where you are, we can carry out your transcription requirements as though we were in the office next door.  You can email us your recordings at the end of your working day and your completed work will be waiting for you in your inbox at the start of the next working day. Copy typing and word processing

We are able to copy type hand-written manuscripts, or re-type hard copy documents.  We can also provide a cost effective OCR service for quick input of typed hard copy documents. 

We provide a specialist service for students and writers who require their thesis, dissertation, essay, novel or non-fiction research typed.  We can also provide a formatting and/or binding service for documents which need that extra professional touch.

We also provide a CV package for individuals who require a more professional touch to their CV or resume.

Secretarial

We can provide a range of services such as short term temporary arrangements to cover sickness or holiday at a price which is more cost effective than hiring a temp, or a personal assistant for a few hours every week or month on a long term basis where you cannot justify the cost of a full time secretary.  Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • typing of correspondence, reports, emails, faxes, etc

  • diary management and travel arrangements

  • preparing quotations, invoicing, chasing payments and producing monthly statements

Legal Secretarial

We have specialist experience in the legal field and can provide you with an excellent legal secretarial service.  Our experience mainly covers domestic conveyancing, commercial property and landlord and tenant law.  We can type and engross your legal documents accurately, no matter how lengthy or complex, and produce bibles of documents on CD-Rom on completion, if required.  We can also offer advice on electronic submission of searches through Land Registry Direct and Searchflow, and completion of SDLT forms through www.sdlt.co.uk.

Bookkeeping

We can collate your receipts and invoices, reconcile your bank statements, and generally prepare your accounts in readiness for presenting to your accountant, or go a little further by preparing simple weekly, monthly or yearly reports and spreadsheets for your income and expenditure, illustrating your financial information with charts and graphs in Excel for marketing or business plan purposes.

Specialist IT and Design

We hold certificates of excellence from Microsoft and can assist you in:

  • Preparing your presentations in PowerPoint either as transparencies, 35mm slides or on CD-Rom

  • Producing Word templates to mirror your house styles

  • Desktop publishing your company literature, flyers, etc in Publisher

  • Producing basic websites using FrontPage, including purchasing domain names and hosting packages, advice on meta/title tags and submitting your website to major search engines

  • Creating and managing your contacts database using Goldmine, an advanced sales and contacts management system.

  • Converting your documents to PDF either through scanning hard copies or converting your word documents

  • Advice on creating and maintaining electronic filing and archiving systems and document management systems

Company stationery and literature

AMVOA has an excellent relationship with a reputable printing company which specialises in business stationery and marketing materials.  They can provide a competitively priced printing service for your business stationery including letterhead, business cards, brochures and flyers, etc, either to complement our design and desktop publishing services, or complete your re-branding exercise.

Event management

Whether you want to organise something fun such as a golf day for the boys or a spa day for the girls, or something more formal such as a networking dinner for prospects, a conference for your clients or customers or taking a stand at a trade fair, AMVOA can manage your event from initial planning to final countdown.  We understand how important client and staff relations are, and we will ensure your event runs smoothly and professionally, leaving you free to network and build relationships.  We can provide everything you need including:
